The college cultivates professional persons with relative programs to extend their learning field and establish the solid foundation of technology as well. The department is a base for cultivating first-class talents in various fields within architectural design. Each year as many as 12% of applying architects are enrolled.
本系以培育「建築生命週期」相關專業人才為主，除建築計畫、資訊、美學、手繪等技能外，課程分「建築規劃與設計實務」及「建築工程與科技實務」二模組，內含環境規劃與設計、歷史環境保存與再利用、都市更新與物業管理、建築設備與環境控制、營建施工與構造及建築數位技術與系統運用(BIM)等五項專業特色職能。藉由專業課程、實習及產學合作等實務操作培育職場需求之能力及技術，以達成「畢業即可高薪就業」的教育目標。專業與生活品格陶冶及人文與環境關懷並重，與建築師公會及著名營建相關企業集團有非常密切的夥伴關係，每年亦提供甚多之實習機會與獎學金及協助專業課程建構與協同授課。近幾年系友考取建築師佔該年全國錄取總數之12%以上，畢業系友表現普獲業界好評與器重。

The department is primarily involved in cultivating professional talent in the 'architectural life cycle'. Apart from blueprints, information, aesthetics, drafting, and other technical skills, the courses are divided into two modules: 'architectural planning and design practice' and 'architectural engineering and technology practice'. These cover the professional skills of environmental planning and design, historical preservation and environmental reuse, urban renewal and property management, architectural equipment and environmental control, construction sites and structures, as well as digital construction technology and system applications (BIM). Through these professional-level courses, internships, and industry-academia cooperation, the department can cultivate the skills needed in the workplace and reach the educational goal of high-paying employment upon graduation. Ensuring professionalism and quality of life share an important position in both the humanities and environmental care. Having very close partnerships with the Architects Association as well as major construction groups and architecture-related companies, every year there are numerous internship opportunities, scholarships, and other assistance provided in the construction and co-teaching of professional-level courses. In recent years, department alumni have proved the department's positive evaluations and high status in the industry, with alumni now accounting for over 12% of the nationwide total number of architects registered each year.
The master's program is oriented towards developing talent through research and application of six professional skill areas, including environmental planning and design, historical preservation and environmental reuse, urban renewal and property management, architectural equipment and environmental control, construction sites and structures, and digital construction technology and system applications (BIM), all under the umbrella of environmental sustainability. In emphasising the combination of theory and practice, the program is integrated with other related departments in the College of Planning and Design, allowing students to prepare the logical, analytic, and applied skills that will increase their employability in a competitive job market.

The future of civil engineering — 'the smart and safe city' hazard mitigation IoT. Established industry cooperation gives students the chance to participate in professional internships and increases the employment prospects in a competitive market while training students in spatial mapping and graphic design skills.
本系以培育土木防災專業技術與研究人才為宗旨，設有日間部、進修部及碩士班。自102學年起全新規劃「土木專業、防災及BIM雙特色」的課程。本系獲IEET(工程教育)認證通過，所修學分皆獲得國際承認。
本系教師歷年產學合作成效特優，自97~105年獲教育部及經濟部補助共八千六百餘萬元，產學合作成果豐碩，並與大陸西南交通大學、廈門大學、福建三明學院等校合作，擴大兩岸交流。畢業生就業率達91%，近期獲教育部技職再造二期計畫補助。

The department aims to develop professional talent that is skilled and researched in the techniques of civil hazard mitigation, with a daytime program, a continuing education program, and a master's program. In 2013, a completely new program was launched for 'Civil Engineering, Hazard Mitigation, and BIM Dual Features'. The department has been certified by IEET and all credits earned are internationally recognized.
The department's faculty have achieved outstanding results through fruitful industry-academia cooperation over the years, receiving over NTD 86 million in funding from the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Economic Affairs from 1997 to 2005, and partnering with such schools as Sanming University in Fujian, Xiamen University, and Southwest Jiaotong University in Mainland China as a means of bolstering cross-strait exchange. The post-graduate employment rate is at 91%, and recently the department was awarded the second phase of a Ministry of Education grant.

為全國最具規模的多媒體設計系，以培育遊戲設計、數位科技藝術、電腦動畫、數位音樂等專業人才為目標。除了教學分四大模組：跨域文創、影音視聽、數位內容、數位娛樂。選修課程可與視覺傳達設計系、影視設計系、互動娛樂設計系選修課程相互承認。本系教學與先進技術同步，導入虛實整合視覺科技、體感互動與數位音樂等專業技術，並廣邀業界廠商合作，參與業師授課共同指導專題及公司實習等，為學子營造優質的創作、創業與就業環境。畢業校友多數皆投入於數位內容創意產業，包括：遊戲製作、動畫、多媒體影音後製、數位行銷公司等創意工作。或繼續就讀國內外遊戲、多媒體藝術等相關研究所。

As the country's largest multimedia design department, the educational aim is to cultivate professional talents in areas such as game design, digital technology, computer animation, and digital music. In addition to a teaching strategy based on the four quadrants of cross-disciplinary creation, audio-video, digital content, and digital entertainment, there are also mutually recognised elective courses offered by the Department of Visual Communication and Design, the Department of Cinematic Design, the Department of Interactive Entertainment Design. The department's teaching is synchronised with technological advances, integrating virtual reality with visual technology, somatosensory interaction with professional technologies in digital music, and more. The department also invites industry players to work together on collaborative arrangements such as joint teaching of special courses or company internships, which create a high-calibre creative and entrepreneurial environment for students. Most alumni have made investments in digital content and the creative industries, including video game production, animation, multimedia post-production, digital marketing companies, and other creative work. Otherwise, they continue their studies in Taiwan or abroad at research institutes involved with gaming, multimedia art, or other related fields.
The department has received funding from programs of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture. Students have displayed their outstanding work and bright results both in Taiwan and abroad at all kinds of venues, from the Young Designers' Exhibition, to the Vision Get Wild Award, and the KuanDu International Animation Festival. In recent years, the department has been actively forming partnerships with international schools and industry to expand students' international horizons. Currently operating special laboratories offer access to motion capture systems, digital music production equipment, and full theatres, giving students the opportunity to refine their skills in digital creation and make an investment in the digital multimedia design industry.

The department focusses on cultivating professional film and television talents who, in line with trends in industry competition, have capabilities in the humanities, arts, and information sciences as well as in film, television, advertising production, and post-3D special effects production. With a pedagogy oriented towards the actual work and teaching students professional skills, mutually recognised elective courses can be selected from the Department of Visual Communication and Design, the Department of Digital Multimedia Design, and the Department of Interactive Entertainment Design. Special features of the course include: (1) cultural creativity combined with nurturing students' sense of localisation and international perspectives on film and television media's power of dissemination; (2) improved integration of video equipment applications and media resources and the introduction of digital video editing; (3) strengthened cooperation between the university and industry in implementing internship programs and meeting industry HR needs; (4) development of students' techniques in the arts and humanities and improvement of the quality of content through an enriched diversification of the works' contexts; (5) cross-disciplinary projects that explore the possibilities of film and television while developing the theory and practice of the work.

是北部科大唯一的學士後多元培力數位音樂音效專班，報考學生人數平均成長67%。本校為全球頂尖steinberg數位音樂認證中心-台灣區首批認證講師進駐指標性教學機構，此學位學程只需利用假日或平日夜間上課，學費僅日間部之一半，一年即可取得大學學歷，並可直接考照。課程能與電影、電視、唱片公司業界接軌，並結合金曲金鐘師資群等優勢條件，讓學生可直接與線上多媒體、動漫相關產業實務結合，並跨領域與本校數媒系、視傳系、影視系、互動娛樂設計系等多元專業整合，以發展具聲音文創產業之特色。

This is the only post-bachelor’s music and sound degree program at a technical school in Northern Taiwan, with an average acceptance rate of 67%. The department is the first educational organisation in Taiwan to bring in instructors from the world-renowned Steinberg digital music certification centre. Classes only need to be attended on the weekends or at night on weekdays, and the tuition is half the price of daytime courses, and it only takes one year to receive a university degree and be eligible for direct examination. The curriculum can be integrated with the industries of film and television and record companies, and students can work with Golden Bell Awards and other highly qualified instructors. Students can directly practice with online multimedia and animation related industries, and various cross-disciplinary opportunities are possible with the university's other departments, developing the role of sound in the creative industries.
The facilities include a recording studio equipped with an industry-standard 5.1 surround sound system that can produce high-definition movie sound effects and soundtracks. Professional-level classrooms are completely equipped with digital keyboards, mixers, sound recording interfaces, mobile recording devices, monitor headphones, and other hardware. In recent years, there have also been many student projects that have expanded into educational collaborations, some of which have even been recognised by the Golden Melody and Golden Bell Awards.
